Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the rule that arguing balls and strikes is an automatic ejection? Now, the first ejection he received, he said nothing and looked like he really thought there were 3 outs (as he claimed). He gets tossed. In another game I saw on TV the next day, a player from another team (I honestly can’t remember which one) got called strike 3 for the third out, dropped his bat in place, opened his batting gloves and walked away. No ejection. That seems like getting tossed for being Milton Bradley. However, the second occasion, if you are arguing the call, you are supposed to get tossed. Of course, this isn’t universally applied these days and tossing him may not really have been warranted – I don’t know, I didn’t see it. As for telling him to shut up and play – do you think that when any other player complains about a call? A-Rod? Mauer? Be honest with yourself when you answer that. Sure, Mr. Bradley has a reputation, but that doesn’t mean he has to play by a different set of rules than the rest of the league.

Maybe Bud Light could make the Bradley Toss an allstar game event in which the umpires could compete for a change. And why not? He’s larded down the game with so many other cockamamie ideas, hardly anyone would blink.

Someone needs to tell Milton to shut his mouth and just play baseball. It doesn’t matter if he’s right or wrong. You make millions to play baseball not argue. No one wants to hear you complain. Take your strikes and sit down. You is better off batting .275 with 100 strike outs than trying to talk back at the umps. It’s clearly not working you his favor. Hey Milton. Just shut your Mouth and you do fine!

I know he’s a hot head, but at the same time, I’d like to see video to know whether his complaint had merit or not. Everyone knows the umps aren’t as impartial as we would like them to be, so let’s see the video and let people make their own conclusions.
