Lenny Harris had a quadruple bypass on Friday

Mar 22, 2010, 12:15 PM EDT

The all-time pinch-hit leader and current Dodgers’ coach was rushed to a hospital on Friday. They found severe blockage in four arteries and performed a quadruple bypass. Harris was said to be resting comfortably as of yesterday.  Word is, however, that he could see some action today if the Dodgers fall behind late and the Brewers bring in a righty.

Get well soon, Lenny.

Definitely, get well Lenny. You were a joy to watch with the Feesh, whose ownership had its head up its usual most available orifice when the team didn’t keep you around to work with the EYPs.

Glad Harris is recovering. It would probably a better move to report Harris’s quadruple bypass without a joke, Craig.

Get well soon, Lenny Harris. I wish you have a speedy recovery my brother…TC
