I agree that Millar should become an analyst. He definitely has the personality. Though he would probably fit in better on MLBNetwork, I think ESPN should hire him to spice things up.

The Cowboy’s skills have deteriorated, but what can you do if you insist on living downwind from the refineries and cracking plants in Beaumont and inhaling the equivalent of a horrible horsemeat and velveeta sandwich into your lungs every day? Notwithstanding his respiratory masochism, Millar has always been my favorite scab. And he’d be a great color man too. He was a joy to have down here in Macondo for the years he toiled for the Feesh. If he had a good game you’d stick around to watch or listen to the postgame to hear his off-kilter take on things, and his sports talk interviews were always a hoot and a half. I can only add to the good wishes that will follow him – that is, except from the Chunichi Dragons and the Player’s Association.

Millar hasn’t contributed much in the way of offense for several seasons now. I think he needs to refine his resume so that he can apply for an analyst job @ MLB or ESPN & hang up the spikes.

I feel sorry for Millar. He didn’t have that bad of a spring but he will be better suited for a DH role in an American League team. Good luck K-Mill!
