The Dodgers neglected to tell Jason Repko that he was released

Mar 31, 2010, 3:15 PM EDT

FOX’s Jon Paul Morosi reported last night that Jason Repko had been released by the Dodgers. About an hour ago, The Los Angeles Times’ Dylan Hernandez reported that Repko had not been told of his release.  As of a half hour ago or so Hernandez was not yet even sure if Repko even knew about it yet. If he’s on Twitter he’s probably getting news of it around now, of course.

Classy move, Dodgers. And you guys call me irresponsible.

I saw an episode of The Office last night where Michael Scott performs and act at a company picnic in which he tells, unbeknownst to them, that the Buffalo branch had been selected for down sizing (or ‘regifting into the job market’ as I’ve heard it called).

even as a Giants fan, it’s hard not to abhor what the Dodgers have become. They are a classless bunch with not even a hint of their proud heritage still in evidence. I wish McCourt would sell the team so I could hate them again…as it stands I feel sorry for their fans. The whole thing is simply pathetic.
