He was supposed to be Jeff Kent lite for the Braves for a decade.
Yes, I know that his skill at baseball has nothing to do with his moral fiber, but man, I liked watching him play and it’s always sad to hear that the relatively inconsequential part of his life that was his baseball-playing was the most admirable part of his life.
