Molina turns 36 in July and had various nicks and bruises last season. Bochy has already talked about playing him less this season, seemingly preparing him for the eventual promotion of Posey. It’s not like Molina is a particularly good baseball player. I’m thinking Posey will play (nearly) everyday by July. Again, I’m an optimist and this says nothing of the Giants’ decision makers.
