Cant get much better than that for an opening day. Red Sox beat the Yankees 9-7 after being down 5-1.

You can’t? How about a 2 hour, fifteen minute 1-0 duel? How about fewer than five pitchers on each side? How about, you know, starters not getting knocked out before the sixth inning?
I watched this tonight but by the two hour mark (sixth inning), I had totally lost interest.
I’ve got very high hopes for Greinke vs. Verlander on Monday.

Here’s the best game I ever saw:

It was a typical April afternoon game in Boston – in the 40s and occasionally drizzling. Most of the players went back to the clubhouse after batting practice, but Canseco stood out there for 20 minutes signing autographs before the game. I was impressed.
Roger Clemens vs Dave Stewart. Clemens walked Henderson to start the game, Rickey stole second and later scored on a Canseco single. A’s win 1-0.
But that game still took 3 hours.

What kind of call was that? Youk at 1st with no outs. And they send him home on the Ortiz hit?

Out of all the regular season MLB games, which matchup of all the teams has the highest tv ratings? How are the tv ratings for Yankees vs Red Sox games compared to all the other baseball games?

No better way to open the 2010 MLB season. If opening night is any indication, neither team will have any trouble …types of diabetes
