I’m not a coach, but don’t most baserunners, on a straight steal, not know until they break, that they are going to try to steal?
And is there really a way to signal that?
And doesn’t Figgins actually see Ichiro trying to steal?
And I’m not sure it’s an automatic fake bunt anyway. There is a pretty good chance that, 3-1 to Figgins, the pitcher will throw something that is hittable.
