Nothing against Mr Gainey, but while teams build and rebuild, he seems to go at a snails pace with trying to get the Montreal Canadiens on top. After last seasons promising regular season ended with a quick exit at the hands of the Flyers, many are concerned that Mr Gainey doesnt know how to build a teamthat can compete during the long, physical playoff grind, drafting smaller players with skill but no physical presence, or bigger players with limited skills. His failure to add a Corey Perry, a Anse Kopitar or a Ryan Getzlaf a few drafts ago hurt the most, as the Habs have needed a dominant big center and power foward for years, and Gainey passed each up at their respective drafts.
