Isn’t there some dude earning 400k right now that could replace whatever Dye’s creaky joints will produce? He’s a crappy outfielder and a first year first baseman, that can’t be hard to find in Quad-A. Let him retire, he’s made his share. I’m not going to BR to verify, but he’s gotta 10 year vet at this point too.
