By the uniforms, silly.

I can’t believe Selig is letting them get away with this. The Yankee uniform is a baseball tradition. It will be weird to see the players without pinstripes and names on the back. I wonder which scheme they assigned to Joba.

Whatever will they do when (not IF but WHEN) the yankees once again sink to the depths they inhabited in the early 70′s? And WHO decides who wears what? And what gives the yankees the right to mess with the definition of the word “uniform”? And Craig, why would you wait to so very near the end of the month to unveil your April fools’ prank?

While I enjoyed the Onion article, it does bring up something that annoys me: no names on the backs of uniforms. No, I am not a fan of your team. No, the world does not revolve around your team. I do not know the names of your players, and it’s extremely annoying when I’m keeping score up in the stands to not know the name.

It shocks me to this day that people still don’t know what “The Onion” is all about. It must be the world’s longest and most successful troll.

Quote of the day! Although apparently after reading some of the posts above, maybe the Understatement of the day.
