Promoting Storen ahead of Strasburg has nothing to do with anything other then good baseball management. The bullpen lacks depth and Storen will provide that. Rizzo is a baseball man and doesn't manage to placade the media or the fans. He has a timetable for these young 'studs' and he will follow it as long as they produce for him and the Nationals. It is good to see that ownership has put the runnig of the club in the hands of baseball people (to include Riggleman) and then let them run it.

By promoting Storen before Strasburg, the Nationals put one more guy ahead of The Anointed One in the Super-2 list.
Smart move by Rizzo and company.
(Don't get me wrong, I think Strasburg is the real thing--but I love to see a Boras client get the short end.)
