I am very happy to see AJax doing so well with the Tigers. I was very distraught when the Yanks traded him. I saw him in about 70 gmes between Trenton and SWB and I have always thought that he would be an outstanding MLB. He reminds me so much of Jeter in his make-up,i.e., humbleness, approachability, student of the game and most of all, his attitude. Granted he strikes out a lot but his defense is sensational and his batting average so much is more than the Tigers could have expected. I really thought that he would be the next great Yankee centerfielder. He is a 5 tool player. Good luck AJax–except against the Yankees.

That so-called run prevention theme really worked . Maybe if they put Poopie (Ortiz) at first base the run prevention will be in high gear .Fourth place is a real possibility . Good Luck Sux .

This really isn’t same-old-Tigers this year in that they’ve been performing in the late innings. It’s been a few years since you wouldn’t give up on them if they were two runs behind in the sixth.
AJax and of course Damon are doing well overall, now if the rotation would settle down and Dontrelle would get rid of that ever-recurring “fever”…..
