Is Ozzie Guillen in trouble?

May 20, 2010, 2:15 PM EDT

No news story or gossip to base this on, but based on his tweets the wonderful Ozzie Guillen is feeling a bit edgy and insecure today:

  • I’m playing golf trying to clear my head, still
    not working hahaha. Nice day;

  • I sleep like a baby, but I get up every 2 hours
    and cry;

  • I’m going to have lunch. I hope they don’t poison
    me ha

  • I know we sucks no remind me iam
    sucks you no have to remind everyone lol lol

    Some of those tweets he was having fun going back and forth with Dan McNeil on 670 the Score. They would say something and he would tweet back. It seemed like Ozzie was having fun more than anything.

    The Sox need to do something I’m tired of seeing great pitching by John Danks and not getting some friggin run support. I love the Sox but the words timely hitting just don’t exist. It’s just painful to watch. I’m trying to figure out who’s worse the Sox or Cubs I guess we’ll figure that out when they play each other. Thank god for the Blackhawks.

    Time to tell it like it is sports fans. The sox are horrible and they aren’t going to get any better. To quote a famous NFL coach ” we are what our record says we are!”. So what have we learned about our team this year? Other than Peavy can’t pitch in cold weather, not much. Everything else we knew. Buerhle is good for on good game a year. The rest of the year he gets hit like a slow pitch softball pitcher. Alexeii has absolutey no knowledge of situational hitting. Konerko is Konerko. Worth his money for 20 games a year and worth the change you find in the couch cushion the rest of the year. None of this is new.
    Neither is the fact that Ozzie has no feel for his club and never has and Walker is a lousy hitting coach. So the question is, when is Williams going to do something about it? You can bring up triple A players and get the same result we are getting right now. So do it. Get some guys in there who want to play. Will the sox be worse? How can they be? Maybe Williams is the problem. Einsteins definition of idiocy is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results
