Every year there are snubs. It is the nature of a limited roster and gives us something to talk about. Strasburg may prove to be among the games best but at 6 starts has proved absolutely nothing. The history of major league baseball is littered with the broken careers of guys who burst on the scene and flamed out way too soon. See us in another year.

Why is no one pointing out that Ryan Howard has no place on an All-Star team this year?
This year Howard has been an average NL 1B. I love that he has worked to get in better shape and all....but that hasn't actually had a positive effect on his base running or his defense, bother are still horrible. On offense his power is way down and he doesn't walk anymore.

I'm sorry, but Dan Uggla does not deserve to be on the team over Brandon Phillips.. Uggla is a liability in the field and Phillips is a defense wizard... And Phillips RBI numbers are down because he's been batting leadoff for the past 3 weeks. his batting average is .309 compared to Uggla's .272. Phillips also has a higher OBP% and SLG% than Uggla too.... Whoever thinks Uggla should make it over Phillips doesn't know baseball... Homeruns are the most overrated stat in baseball.
