MLB.com gets in on the LeBron James circus for some reason

Jul 9, 2010, 12:47 PM EDT

Just in case you somehow didn’t get enough of the LeBron James media circus yesterday, this morning MLB.com had not one, not two, but three different baseball-related (sort of) articles about James:
* No LeBron in NY, but Yanks wish him well
* Marlins excited LeBron coming to town
* LeBron’s move doesn’t surprise Indians
If, say, Albert Pujols shocks everyone by leaving the Cardinals after next season and signs with another team, do you think NBA.com will have three articles about it? Just saying.

    Hey Baseball: you’re the national goddamned pastime. Knock it off with the inferiority complex already.

    The main effect of the LeBron circus in Macondo will be to make Scrooge McLoria’s forthcoming trade deadline midnight massacre even less noticeable than it already would have been. In other words, the Feesh will become even less relevant in a Feens/Heat town than it already is. Looks like the Panthers are going to have some company somewhere just below the racing forms on page five of the Macond Harold sports section.
