    He reminds me of David Cone from back in the day – hired gun for a team that is going for it.

    Where he wound up and how many times he wound up weren’t items over which he had any say. However, I can guarangoddamntee you that when he signs his new contract this winter, he damned well will make sure he has some say about it next time.
