Actually there was a post about it, you missed it. It acknowledged that by the letter of the rule the call was technically correct, however the rule is a bit silly when interpreted that way.

beeze, I thought that only applied if the pitcher has not faced a batter yet. Broxton had already walked a batter before Torres came up. Since Torres was not his first batter the manager could have removed him with no problem. The rule is there to prevent a manager from removing a pitcher before he has faced a batter.
If Kershaw gets a suspension it has to be at least 5 games or else he won't miss any starts. So what are the odds an appeal knocks a game off his suspension? Unless MLB is totally clueless he'll get 5 games.

Still no mention here of the fact that the umps blew the call last night by forcing broxton to leave the game. If a manager makes 2 mound visits in the same atbat, the manager is ejected and the pitcher must pitch to that batter and then be removed. This is to prevent managers from intentionally visiting the mound twiice to remove a pitcher before he faces a batter, in case the opposition pinch hits for a better matchup. The dodgers would have won a protest if they protested.
