It was indeed a very cool moment, and it overshadows the fact that another umpire snapped after a seemingly innocuous moment.
As for football v baseball, I love both sports. They appeal to different parts of my brain. Baseball appeals to the smart part of my brain. Football appeals to the part of my brain that likes to be entertained. Not that baseball isn't entertaining or that football isn't smart, but yeah.

I used to consider football unwatchable. Then I realized that its completely watchable and totally exciting provided you watch it correctly. So now if I feel like a football game, what I do is I tune in the last ten minutes or so and I'll know immediatly if it was a game worth watching. Whats more, due to endless replays, I won't actually have missed any of the action but I'll have skipped most of the boring parts and ass patting. There really is no such thing as a tense, nail biting football game, just looooong stretches of guys walking around and replays punctuated by a few seconds of action.
It all made sense after that study earlier this year that demonstrated NFL games were like 8 mins of action and tons of standing around. Baseball offered a 'compressed games' product on thier website a couple years ago, they need to do that for football as it seems better suited for it.

i would love to see all of those reasons and show you how dumb some of those are and still point out that football is better then baseball.
Granted baseball has its moments, but in the long run, football would win
