    Maybe I just didn’t pay attention last year, but it seems to me there’s been more sturm und drang with less of anything actually happening preceding the trade deadline this season than I can remember in yonks. Dan Haren is the one glaring exception. But I keep interested because of the spectacle of Adam Dunn finally making it to the designatedhitterball league where a bumbling pachyderm with neanderthal swinging power actually belongs.
