Another awkward solution to an easy to fix problem. Is Bud Selig the most awkward human being to ever lead a sports league? Which day of the week is likely to have the greatest plus attendance by holding opening day on it? Is it Friday, when a lot more people are likely to attend a night game WITHOUT all the pageantry? Or would that be MODAY, like it has been for over 100 years? And what ever happened to the Reds being the first team to start their season, since they were the first team? And if the Reds WERE the first professional baseball team, who did they play? *credit to the late, great George carlin for the last question*

Why do you need a day off between games 3 and 4? YOU DON'T!
The reason for days off is for travel - period.

Good move to get it done in october before College and NFL football along with all the NBA hype completely destory the World Series. Sorry to say it but if the Braves aren't contending I hate missing out on a Sunday night game because of the World Series.
Now if we can get NASCAR to finish up like 3 months earlier so i don't have D-bags coming into the bar I work at asking me to turn the TV to it on Sundays.
