Let’s give him a chance to get his feet wet . He didn’t look good at the plate yesterday, but that’s to be expected . He isn’t going to be what he was , he looks to be in decline. I’m sure the Yanks just want him for a little pop down the stretch . If he can hit 250 – 275 with some power they’ll be happy .

You’ll notice that Lupica says nothing about the Metropolitans excellent upgrading during the trading frenzy, but I’m sure he knows Omar “did his best”.
