The Litsch injury was a couple of days ago. And at the same time, some minor transactions were reported.
Today, there was a post at 1:55pm and at 3:02pm. So clearly Drew could have picked up on it earlier than 3:28pm.

What is it with Tampa and getting no-hit (or in this case, almost no-hit)? This would have been the fourth time over the last two seasons, I believe. Against Chicago last year, then against Oakland and Arizona this year. Too bad it didn’t happen.

As the Rays continue to give Red Sox fans hope … I understand why they haven’t traded for a bat, I understand that their prospects and cost-controlled young players are more valuable to them than to most teams, but the Rays HAVE to understand that this is basically a mediocre, league-average offense that has somehow lucked into scoring about 30 more runs than it should have. Until Longoria and Crawford pull out of their slumps, they’re going to keep losing.

Man, that Longoria single was painful to watch. Still, an absolutely dominant performance – with 17 K’s and just one hit allowed, I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the highest game score of the year.
