Hero boyfriend flees foul ball; allows girlfriend to get smacked

Aug 10, 2010, 1:30 PM EDT

And you thought Kyle Farnsworth's performance was the worst thing on display during last night's Braves-Astros game.

Young lady, might I suggest you droppin’ the zero and gettin’ with a hero? Or at least someone who doesn’t flee like a scared rabbit at the sight of an approaching foul ball (h/t to SportsGrid — who supplies some additional context — for the video):

And then he kept the ball. BIG PIMP STYLE !!!!! The pimp hand is strong with this one. His Pimpi-chlorian count must be off the charts!

  2. scatterbrian - Aug 10, 2010 at 2:08 PM

That is douchebaggery at it’s finest.

  3. The Common Man - Aug 10, 2010 at 2:08 PM

How the hell does he get to keep the ball? What a tool. Put your hat on straight, d-bag, or get back to the Jersey Shore

  4. Jason @ IIATMS - Aug 10, 2010 at 2:15 PM

    In the lights? You tool.
    Fix the hat, you d-bag.

  5. Kevin S. - Aug 10, 2010 at 2:21 PM

Hey, HEY! We’ve got enough of that breed of douchebag here already, thank you very much. We don’t need Houston’s rejects as well.

Thats some funny Sh!$ right there. If you dress like a douchbag, you’ll act like a douchbag.

Not for nothing, but I think my wife would knock me over trying to get the ball.

  8. Dannyb712003 - Aug 10, 2010 at 2:46 PM

I was watching the game and they kept going back and the girl would reach for the ball and the little D-BAG would not even let her touch theball! It was a little funny he did not know he was on tv.

  9. YankeesfanLen - Aug 10, 2010 at 3:12 PM

He looks a lot like the Phillies run around the field guy.

    She tazed him later.

She had it coming. You date a guy wearing that hat, you deserve worse because you’re actually encouraging it. She’s an enabler.

  12. YANKEES1996 - Aug 10, 2010 at 4:20 PM

LOO-SER, she should have tagged him with a left hook and then gotten up and walked off!

Usually I can’t stand the sidelines/in-the-stands commentators (Siragusa, I’m looking at your ugly mug), but this one was great. Calling that d-bag out for “acting like a chicken” – that was priceless. That girl is way too hot for that guy. And take back the ball, honey, you earned it.

  14. adam - Aug 10, 2010 at 5:02 PM

Is he wearing a Yankees cap? And an awful one at that?

  15. Kiwicricket - Aug 10, 2010 at 5:21 PM

She refered to that guy as ‘baby’ on national television. She has a whole life full of hard knocks coming.

  16. Old Gator - Aug 10, 2010 at 5:43 PM

It was a good move. No woman is worth getting brained for. This guy knows his Nietzsche.
