Hey, he’s just “keeping it real” like Michael Vick and every other overpaid thug who can play a sport. There will always be a team who will pay for him, even if he is a morally bankrupt human being. Actually, it makes some people feel better about themselves when they see “reality shows”. Maybe he could be a guest on ” Jersey Shore”.

“Obviously the man is innocent until proven guilty.” That’s not true. It’s a phrase used much too often and wrong most of the time it’s used. If the phrase were true, no murderer would ever be locked up pending trial. That phrase is merely a shorthand for: the burden is on the prosecutor to prove the person charged with a crime is actually guilty under criminal law and related criminal sentences. Said another way, the guy who went postal at the beverage distributor and killed a bunch of his co-workers before he killed himself was not innocent until proven guilty. Heck, he never “will be proven guilty.” But only someone who has lost their mind would say he is innocent until proven guilty.

As a D-back season ticket holder, I’ll take K-Rod in a heartbeat. Not at the price he is getting paid now, but if the Mets cut him, I’ll sign him as a free agent. Nobody should have to endure what I have had to endure this season watching the D-backs bullpen!

Not with that contract he won’t. So far 45 appearances this year, if he gets 55 next year (two years 2010 and 2011 combined 100) he’ll get $17 MILLION guaranteed for 2012. Read that and weep Met fans because ain’t nobody else going to cough that up. Minaya, amazing he keeps his job.
