I’ve written a couple of times recently that I thought Bobby Valentine would be a good fit for the Mariners. Some people just love to dismiss my opinions, apparently because some know-nothing is saying, no, Valentine and the Mariners aren’t a fit.
What? Oh, it was Bobby Valentine who said that? Ah. Well, yes, I suppose he would know better than me, wouldn’t he?
Well, then. Carry on.

Cubs or Dodgers, Bobby likes the spotlight.

Bobby’s public dance with Florida turned out badly. He may have decided to stay quiet and see of the M’s and he can talk in a quiet and private manner this time.

Agreed and both could benefit; Valentine needs a team that is not in complete rebuilding mould and in need of some butt kicking and a change in direction and personality.

Maybe he’s waiting to see if the Mets are definately going with Wally Bachman.

LeBron’s people are calling Bobby’s to setup another one hour special…
Isn’t this exactly what ESPN hired Bobby for: “[The Bobby Valentine] interview is exactly what [ESPN's Norby] Williamson wants from “Baseball Tonight.” He’s looking for talent that will be in the news and will have to talk about it on ESPN.”
