David Wright got all barfy; left game

Aug 19, 2010, 9:59 AM EDT

It takes a lot to get David Wright out of the linuep, so it’s pretty safe to say that whatever it was that caused him to check out of last night’s game in Houston was serious:

“Something came on about the fourth or fifth inning,” Wright said. “I
felt real nauseous and just throwing up a lot. I just didn’t feel like I
was helping out all that much. I felt like I did what I could and then
really couldn’t do much more after that.”

I’m guessing he either (a) ate the black and white cookie; or (b) has little kids at home, because boy howdy, nothing makes a grown man barf like the nasty viruses the rugrats bring home six times a year.

It only took 120 games for him to get nauseated by this excuse for a team? Guy’s got an iron stomach.

Nothing compared to what the rash downstairs is going to be like David.
