Really? So I guess when a bad pitch breaks a hitter’s hand, the pitcher should be removed from the active roster? Or when a line drive injures the pitcher or an infielder, ditto? You people are effing retarded. Get over it. Cueto was in a dangerous situation and did what he could to protect himself. Any of you would have too, and to say otherwise proves you a liar. If LaRue didnt want a concussion, maybe he should have stayed out the way, or maybe told his pitcher, Chris Carpenter, to shut his effing mouth, just like all of you should.

No, “El Bravo” is being a douchebag himself. Given that his team includes dirty Johnny Venters and Tommy Crybaby Hanson, he would be better off worrying about his own trash team. Maybe you don’t know much about the Cards or LaRussa, but they love to throw at people, slide spikes up and whine more than any team on earth about anything and everything. They will literally invent things to feel sorry for themselves. The sad part of the brawl is nobody planted a fist in the face of trash like LaRussa and Duncan.

Leave him in!!!! If he has the ‘cleats’ to do what he did, then he should have the ‘cleats’ to stand up and walk out there like a man! This doesn’t mean retaliation is justified, I’m just staying he should be forced to walk in those shoes now!!!! It’s the quickest way to bury this issue, and move on. Couldn’t agree more with Gator here. If Molina couldn’t accept a simple tap on his shin guard from Phillips, what exactly is going to happen when the ravenous lunatic sees Cueto out on the mound, or worse, when he steps up to the plate? I imagine it would go like this…Molina would say something, Cueto would ignore him, and Molina would get in his face telling him not to ignore him. Then the benches would clear again and all hell would break loose. Maybe King Albert would get pinned up against the netting behind home plate, but when HE kicks his way out of there, everyone will praise him for being “savvy”.

I don't want to see Cueto die for behaving like an idiot in a fiasco that was exacerbated by an even bigger idiot - but we've been through this before. It's just baseline sanity to leave him in the clubhouse for three days. Lost in the concern about a Reds pitcher decapitating the hapless fool is who else will get injured in the all-out brawl which will doubtless follow that star-crossed at bat. I am pretty sure the cards won’t be upset if he pitches after all unless it is against the pirates or some other non winning team he never goes more than 5 innings and always gives up that many runs.as reds fan I just wish the whiny bitches would just shut up!maybe he would not have had to resort to kicking if he had not been pinned up against the net with everybody pushing up against him. manly or not you do what you have to to protect yourself.if he he had been hurt the bitches would have said it was just part of the game.the reason the reds and thier fans hate them is they never can do anything wrong,they beat the reds and the 1 game they lose is because the balls were scuffed or they did not play thier entire starting lineup.nobody else ever complained about the balls but them.they never can lose a game,there is always an excuse.thier manager thinks he invented baseball,hey look at me I am batting the pitcher 8th isn’t that the single most impressive move ever by a manager.the guy won 1 world series with the most juiced lineup ever and has won 1 win st.louis despite winning the division almost every year and with 2 of the most feared sluggers to play the game in mcguire and pujols.yea real genius there.
