Are you kidding? MDC has been terrible for two years now, he was likely to be non-tendered in the offseason, and Theo somehow turned him into an actual prospect. Fantastic trade for him.

Maybe he just got tired of watching Delcarmen blow leads and be generally ineffective. Sounds like they got a decent prospect in return so I’m all for it.
