Nyjer Morgan crashed into another catcher and had another "incident" with a fan last night

Nationals center fielder Nyjer Morgan is currently appealing his seven-game suspension for throwing a ball into the stands after jawing with fans in Philadelphia last week, but in the meantime he got into another “incident” with a fan at last night’s game in Florida.
After getting into his second home-plate collision with a catcher in the past week–injuring Marlins backstop Brett Hayes–Morgan took his place out in center field and began angrily shouting at a fan.
I’m not a professional lip-reader or anything, but it seems pretty clear that he’s saying … well, let’s go with “shut up, you obese female dog.” You can see the video here.
He’s also hitting just .257/.317/.319 and has been caught stealing a league-high 15 times, so Morgan has been an all-around mess this season. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Nationals non-tender him this winter.

what about when he threw down his glove and had a hissy fit while the ball was still in play.
Nyjer is the bitch.

Wow, thrown out more than Denard Span, who has been brutal on the basepaths.

The play against the Cards was weak, catcher was nowhere near the plate. And last night, if he had slid he would’ve been safe. I know running through the catcher is part of the game, a part that I like. But you have to know when to do it. Hayes was up in the air reaching for a high throw, Morgan had a clear shot at the plate. Instead he went out of his way to hit Hayes and didn’t score what would have been the go-ahead run. At least in both cases he’s been out. I hope they drill his little ass tonight, he deserves it.

Good thing the Nationals traded him to the Pirates because of his character issues. Oh, wait…

Hayes is saying all the right things, but that is football, not baseball. Morgan was clearly more intent on making the hit than on scoring the run. I hope he gets double-suspended for that.

But how many times has he been picked off….that’s what Denard wants to know!

Span is 20-24 in steal attempts. In what universe is this brutal?

He’s also been picked off a bunch (which isn’t listed in his CS totals). That’s what they’re talking about with Span.

What the hell was the 3rd base coach doing waving him home anyway?

The man is two tacos short of a combo plate.
