It's a beautiful thing.... a huge series coming up soon. Actually from here on out, every series is huge, but against the Braves, it's really going to count. I can't wait. These two old fart managers are competing for NL manager of the year I think.

I think two teams want to win the division very badly. And Good ole Charlie says it best when asked about it after the win last night. " You might as well try predicting what a huricane will do next, we have to worry about winning games and the rest will work itself out."

Well, the Feelies appear to have solved Anibal Sanchez in the second inning of game 2 and lead 5-3 in the fifth. The Feesh have unleashed their scrubeenies and rookies in Game 2, Logan Morrison is playing with a bifurcated universe, and Dan Uggla is having all kinds of problems with that "Happens-Every-Spring" wood repellent that Roy Oswalt keeps rubbing on his pitches. So, it looks like....uh-oh, Cameron Maybin just crushed one and it's 5-4.
.
The Iron Giant has crushed a pair today himself, and seems to be getting back the timing and pitch selectivity that celebrated his player of the week award two weeks ago by taking a vacation at the Sandals in Bhutan.
.
I leave the Feesh and the Feelies to their destiny and head out for Ramadan dinner. Then, come home and settle in and watch the Padres flirt with oblivion in Tinseltown.
