Even assuming arguendo (boom, law school word) he shouldn’t be voted into the Hall of Fame for douchebagginess (boom, made up word), there is no question he would have been a HOF player without steroids, which is all that really matters for this purpose.

Why would Heyward even play again after this season? Just give him $300 million, and put him in the Hall of Fame and he can do something else with the next 15 years. Just like I don’t understand why Stephen Strasburg is even bothering with Tommy John surgery? Just give him $300 million as well, put him in the hall of fame, and he can also find something better to do with the 15 years of his life.
On another note…if Jason Heyward ever came to an abrupt stop, David O’Brien’s nose would be firmly planted in his colon about a foot deep.
