After this week I dont think you can make an arguement that any team is playing better then the Phillies right now. Im tired of hearing everyone talk about how the Rockies have been the best team in september the last couple of years because its false. Check the record its the Phillies.

Totally agree with this. It may be important, but so is resting people…once they have the division wrapped up which is not a fact and I am not jinxing them and shush let’s just not talk about it.

Gaston has apparently been pushing for Don Baylor to take over as Jays manager but beyond that there hasn’t been much in terms of speculation. While still a long shot to contend, the Jays do have enough pieces that they could always surprise, especially if any of the other teams in the division stumble. For that reason, they should go with an experienced manager as they can’t afford to give away any wins.

Homefield for the Twins would be huge if they can pass the Yanks(only 2 back). They have the best winning percentage at home in all of baseball and Target Field would be rocking.
