An a-maize-ing tribute to Bobby Cox

Because ain’t no one spending time in the hot, hot sun making a Tony La Russa or Joe Torre corn maze, that’s why.  That’s love right there, people.

Bobby Cox is better than them for more reasons than that. His Winning pct rocks theirs. His players adore him. And we know that ain’t how it is with those other two. And just look at what he’s doing this season. He is doing more with less, but you know what, back in the days of 14 straight, he did it then too. Sure he’s better than them, it’s a no brainer.

You mean 11 straight. The Braves were in 2nd place in 1994, which did not follow 1993 or 1995 in succession.

You know, that’s a better likeness in corn than I could do free-hand with a pencil.

14 straight. 1994 was never completed and doesn’t count.
