Who cares? It was all entertainment. Which it was. Now had it been A-rod? Well then he’d be a total POS and should be banned from the game. That way he can get back to kissing himself in the mirror. And stuff.
No really, he’s handling it pretty much how he should. I would have figured he would have at least a pair of tickets though. As far as the other apology though? He should go up and dust the dandruff off the other shoulder of Volstad and tell him he’s sorry for forgetting to brush that one off too. How forgetful of him. Of course he was already disciplined for it all by a flying clothesline that would have made Jimmy superfly Snuka blush.

im a pretty cynical guy but I dont think Morgan is insincere at all. I think his quotes throughout all of this says it all. I think he honestly sees himself as an old-time throwback to hard-nosed baseball. Its almost like he doesn’t understand why people think what he’s doing is bad. I kind of like the guy even though Im a phillies fan. He reminds me of Juan Pierre back in the day where you hated to see him come to bat, he’d make your pitcher throw 15 pitches during his at-bat and if he got on he was likely to steal second and third and all the while make your pitcher forget about the guy at the plate. a real pest. I like that kind of player.

I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he felt bad for the incident. Time will tell if he really is remorseful
