Jack Clark quits on the Cardinals

Sep 24, 2010, 2:30 PM EDT

Jack Clark, who ripped the Cardinals for quitting last week, has quit.  His analyst job at Fox Sports Midwest, that is, where he does occasional Cardinals postgame analysis.

Given his “poopy pants” rant, I wish it happened via a big temper tantrum during which he called his producer “a big fat butthead whose face looks like a butt and who smells like a butt,” but it seems that it was an amicable parting based mostly on the incompatibility of schedules. Man, what a lost opportunity.

Oh well. Even though he crapped out on this job, you can rest assured that he’ll float to the surface somewhere. People who can stir the pot like Clark will eventually find themselves sitting on some talk radio throne eventually.

“Crapped out on the job,” under the circumstances, nearly made me fall off my chair I laughed so hard.

That last paragraph was the single most beautiful thing I’ve read today.

Why do networks sugarcoat when they fire people every stinking time? It’s always some BS, such as incompatability of schedules, or considering other opportunities… He was fired. Plain and simple. We are able to understand that. I hope he doesn’t copyright poopy pants though, I plan on using it extensively.

4 poop jokes in one paragraph? This blog is a dump and it is run by turds.

  5. Jonny5 - Sep 24, 2010 at 2:46 PM

It was quite good wasn’t it? I’m having a hard time hopping on the poopwagon here because i’ve had irritable bowels since I got up today.

Dumping on the team forced his movement to job No. 2. But I should not pile on.

    Craig,
Typo alert. Believe you meant “lost opportunity” at the end of the second paragraph. Feel free to delete this comment. Just wanted to let you know about the typo.
