If you were a Mets fan in the 70′s, there is NO WAY you could forget LIndsey Nelson and his plaid blazers. I have no idea how many he had, but it seemed like he had one for each game.
My dad had a red/white/blue plaid blazer in the 70′s, back when patriotism was all about the Spirit of ’76! Man, that thing was ugly!

Fortunately, Maddon’s Rays play in front of the one geriatric, pack-rat fan base that may still have the original plaid blazers they wore in the 1970s. Those geezers keep everything. Am I right, Gator?
