After sitting out Game 1 of the NLDS with a back injury Placido Polanco is rejoining the Phillies’ lineup for Game 2 tonight. He’s starting at third base and batting second against Reds right-hander Bronson Arroyo:
1. Shane Victorino, CF
2. Placido Polanco, 3B
3. Chase Utley, 2B
4. Ryan Howard, 1B
5. Jayson Werth, RF
6. Jimmy Rollins, SS
7. Raul Ibanez, LF
8. Carlos Ruiz, C
9. Roy Oswalt, P
Wilson Valdez batted eighth while starting in Polanco’s place in Game 1, but with Polanco back for Game 2 manager Charlie Manuel has moved Jimmy Rollins from second to sixth while sliding Raul Ibanez and Carlos Ruiz down one spot apiece.
