Kevin Kaduk over at Yahoo’s Big League Stew passes along today’s must-see baseball photo.  It’s CBS broadcaster Jim Nantz and former president George W. Bush, taking in Saturday’s ALDS Game 3 in Arlington, Texas.

Bush, of course, used to have an ownership stake in the Rangers.  The club is playing in its first postseason since 1999 and will look to advance to the ALCS with a win over the Rays later this afternoon.

And that’s Nolan Ryan to Nantz’s left. Someone ought to tell him that pleated khakis are . . . unfortunate.

George shows up….Rangers lose. Just like old times.

They showed this box quite a bit during the TBS broadcast. We recognized W & Nolan, and the third guy looked familiar, but I never would have placed it as Jim Nantz.

When you have any type of muscle in your calves, you have to wear pleated khakis…unless you wear a suit, which Nolan was also seen wearing earlier in the series. When you have sticks for legs, you can wear the straight-legged pants like Nantz. However, since Nolan was actually an athlete, he wears pleated khakis. Besides, when did you become Michael Kors, Craig?

I meant Quads…it’s late and I’m tired from celebrating a Phillies NLDS sweep.
