Headline of the Day

Oct 12, 2010, 11:03 AM EDT

The fact that this man is still playing while the Braves are home organizing their fishing gear is proof that there is no God. Or that he exists and has a great sense of humor.

This comes from ESPN Dallas/Fort Worth.  So strange of them to be rooting for the Rays like this so openly . . .

Oh, c’mon Craig! You put the lead-in up there and you don’t show Frenchy’s response?
    FAIL. Bad form…

Funny. He may only be playing one more day. It’s amazing that the Rays have fought back from 0-2. Just shows how good a team they are, and how closely matched the Rangers are with them. You have to give the slightest of edges to Cliff Lee over David Price today, something like 51-49%. But, given Josh Hamilton’s obvious injury induced limitations, it’s entirely with reason if the Rays won.

My first thought was ‘I’ll bet it’ll be something about his clubhouse presence’

No Craig. There is a God. But he hates the Braves. Maybe if they had more starters that are lefties???

I think God probably just hates Craig. Don’t worry, Craig — I’ve often wondered whether God hates me (usually after watching Philly sports teams lose). So you’re in good company.
Or maybe Jeff Francouer is God, in which case the world is doomed.

Yeah, that would be rough, but at least we’d know that if the world ends, it went down swinging.
