Well good. This is a story about a group of idiots that are actually infringing on others rights to have a great night out at the ballgame. It’s shocking to me actually considering NY is the Northeasts Gay capital and all. Don’t grown men feel there is something inherintly wrong with themselves for yelling these things? I would. I do question what the motive is to play that song though… it’s terrible. I don’t wanna hear it myself. I think it should only be played at roller skating rinks.

I never knew the bleacher creatures chanted crap like that. what a bunch of idiots. Yankees are supposed to be first class and the fans come up with garbage like this? Sad. Especially for such a “modern” city. Say what you will about us Rays fans but we certainly don’t chant anything more offensive than “Yankees Suck”

Why is it that Philadelphia gets trashed for its fan base when this happens in new York, people get stabbed at dodger stadium and fans have run on to the field on multiple occasions and assaulted an umpire and a coach in Chicago?

i am basically against the political correctness agenda, which tries to turn every single person into the same single shade of crap-brown, as we all becomes slaves to the fascist global wage slave state…but im more against grown men acting like (as Kevin said) high schoolers…it is like yankees fans (and philly fans too) are all frozen in time at 16 years of age, and the more they feel separated from normal humanity, the more outrageous their actions (bullying, general obnoxiousness) become in order to quell their subconscious hunches that they may, in fact, be douche bags

No, it wasn’t innocent at all. When it was just chanting “Why are you gay?” it felt like high school immaturity, but when they added words to the verses, it went so far overboard, I was embarrassed to be sitting in the same section. Glad this has been stopped.

What the “Bleacher Creatures” were doing was not innocent at all. Just go on to YouTube and you will find many videos of this horrible and vile song being screamed at innocent spectators. This should have happened years ago. I am shocked that the Yankees have let it go on for so long. This whole situation just goes to prove that Yankee fans are the worst fans in baseball.
