Finally a Bobby Valentine rumor that I sort of think is valid. Fortunately, very few ESPN games appear on Toronto TV.

Hard to believe that BV doesn’t think of working for Scrooge McLoria and the Chihuahua as a “perfect situation.” Unencumbered by big dollars, he could sneeze off the likes of Scott Boras; unencumbered by large numbers of fans, he could make mistake after mistake and misuse his boolpen till the F4s come home and no one would notice. Unencumbered by a meaningful sports press – much less one that stays awake during games – he could speak out of context about anything and anyone who irks him without setting the teapot hooting very often if at all. I have no idea what this guy is looking for, but if he isn’t careful he is gonna wind up actually working for a living.

So now the Bobby V traveling circus is headed to broadcasting? Or is it the media in general? Awaiting word of rumors that he’s going to FOX, MLB Network, NESN, YES, TBS, WGN, CSN, Lifetime, DIY, or SI, ESPN the Magazine, Brian Beachey’s Kokomo Gazette or whatever it is
