The Giants are trotting out the same batting order, and again Pablo Sandoval is sitting.  He’s just 1-for-6 this postseason and posted miserable numbers over the last couple months of the regular season.  Oh, and his defense has been a problem.

The Phillies did make a few changes.  Polanco and Utley were flipped because left-hander Jonathan Sanchez will be on the mound for San Francisco.  Jimmy Rollins, who led off during Game 1 of the Phils’ sweep of the Reds in the NLDS, will again bat sixth.  He’s been in that spot now for four straight games because of his ongoing struggles at the plate.

Uribe has been replaced by Renteria due to injury (wrist contusion sliding into second last night). Renteria will bat 8th, Ross moved up to 6th.

Well, Sanchez is hit or miss but so is Oswalt. And I’m actually surprised the Phillies didn’t move Rollins to the 8 slot. He has looked terrible lately. Go Giants!
