Nah, AJ didn’t have all that bad of a night. He was left in too long, ala Pedro. And I don’t buy into it when people say that a guy throws one mistake on a multi-run homer–he made a couple to get the first two runs there to begin with.

So much for Tommy Hunter being a “shaky starter,” I guess. Burnett was only a little better than advertised, and he was advertised pretty badly, but the Borg bullpen has proven about as effective as the Democrats’ top campaign strategists. Sergio Mitre has brought back memories of his days of coughing up gophers and leads for the Feesh. The FAT TOAD wasn’t left in long enough to do all that much damage this time, but he didn’t need to be. The Borg are sleepwalking right out of the postseason.

And also, I forgot to mention that I was totally wrong about the Rangers. After the way they squandered game 1 away, I thought they were dead. They got up off the canvas, beat up on Hughes in game 2, predictably won with Lee in game 3, and now tonight, they beat up on the Yankers Bullpen once again and are in position to be up 3-1 after tonight. Imagine if they hadn’t choked away that lead in game 1…we could be looking at a sweep…lol.

As a royal fan cheering for the rangers because I hate the Yankees that much, this has been awesome. I went nuts when molina hit that homerun. This is what makes post-season basball so great. If im this happy over the rangers possibly taking a 3-1 series lead, I dont know what I would do with myself when the royals finally make it to the playoffs.

On a side note. Im getting pretty sick of hearing Yankees fans chant “asshole” whenever given the oppurtunity, like a fan not getting out of the way on a foul ball or the pitcher throwing over to 1st to hold the runner. It doesnt offend me at all because I got a pair and I cuss like any other man, but have some class yankee fans.

I guess it didn’t matter one way or the other with the Yankers only scoring 3 runs so far tonight. They are in big trouble any way you look at it because if they don’t come back, they will have to go through Cliff Lee to get to the World Series, and I just don’t see them beating him. Hell, I’m not even sure they will get this series back to Texas, and even if they do, Phil Hughes will be pitching of the same mound where he gave up 7 runs only 4 short days ago. If they dont come back in the next 2 innings, the Yankers are TOAST.
