If O’Connor truly believes that steroids have permeated every facet of the game, he’s going to see a steroid angle in every story that comes out. If, on the other hand, he’s just blowing smoke and pressing a hot button, then, well, congrats to his lack of creativity.

Craig, O’Connor really wants Anderson to apologize for personally using PEDs. At last, the truth is out. It was the GMs using PEDs that caused all the HRs and Ks.

That’s bullbleep. He doesn’t need to apologize. 15-20 years ago everyone knew what was going on, but no one cared. I remember taunting Canseco in Fenway Park with the STEERRRR-OIDS chant. You can’t pin this all on Alderson. I hope he tells O’Connor to stick it, and then revokes all of his Mets press credentials.
PS. Getting an apology from Syd Thrift would be a tough one. He’s been dead for 4 years.
