		<description><![CDATA[It amazes me just how lucky some people/teams can be.  Remember all the outrage when Sabean signed Renteria to a 2 year $18.5 million contract?  Considering how truly awful he was for the Red Sox in 2005, everyone said this was a terrible contract.  2 years later, he is the WS MVP.  Cody Ross was cut by the Marlins, and ONLY picked up by the Giants to block the Padres.  He&#039;s your NLCS MVP.  Pat the bat once again had himself a great World Series, but for a guy hitting .040 in his World Series career, he has two rings.  Amazing.  

Congrats Giants.  Amazing that if not for a 10 game losing streak by the San Diego Padres you would likely have been watching October baseball.]]></description>
