On a serious note, this could be terrible for MLB. Are players involved? What did Mets management know and when? If the clubhouse guy was placing bets for players, staff, or management, watch out!

He’s got three months to recover from the season and prepare for spring training. it’s a nearly year-round job, if done well. And everybody needs some down time…
And let’s hope, for the integrity of the game, that his gambling involvement stays with football, and stays out of baseball, and nobody else in the clubhouse is involved…
