Regardless of the inebriety of the victim, he killed a person running a light while drunk. It could have been a kid on a bike, and not a drunk woman. And I’m sure prosecution will remind the jury of this appropriately. Slam dunk isn’t the word for what this case should be. Wouldn’t the “pity” part be more useful to him at sentencing time?
