The Mariners were the WORST baserunning team in baseball. They looked like the Keystone Kops. They started the season with Brumley at 3B, but he made so many horrible calls that they move him off and put Tinsley (no better) there. When a Davey Lopes is available…..amazing. Sometimes teams are really stupid. Penny-wise and pound foolish. $100mm payroll and then skimp on paying a GM, a manager, scouts and coaches to save a few pennies.
