Introducing the Jeff Francoeur autobiography

Nov 11, 2010, 4:58 PM EDT

My daughter brought this book home from school today.  I’m assuming that “Eric Brown” is a pen name for Jeff Francoeur.  I’m also assuming that my daughter checking out books about baseball is a desperate plea for more time with her father, who has been taken from her by this accursed sport, but I’ll leave that conversation for my therapist.

(hat tip to Eric Simon of Amazin’ Avenue for the Jeff Francoeur joke)

Sure it’s not about Eric Byrnes? The picture looks about spot-on.

A day without Frenchy-bashing is like a day without sunshine. Must be Indian Summer in Columbus.

This is the most accurate post ever posted ever anywhere at any time in history.

Maybe it’s early rebellion, what with you thinking it’s a Frenchiography…hmm…?

I remember reading some stories about this little girl before, and it seems she’s quite funny. Telling guys with silly names about their daddy’s underpants, and how her daddy saw him in them. I picture this going down like so…”Daddy, here’s a book by your favorite player. (sly grin) I heard today the Braves are going to be lucky enough to get him back from that team the good pitcher everyone likes plays on.”
